CrossRoads Teen Ministry

CrossRoads Teen MinistryPlease Note: First Baptist Church of Lincoln Park is currently searching for a Youth Pastor, upon the departure of former Youth Pastor Dan Gifford. In the meantime, trained staff and volunteer leaders are in place to help coordinate teaching, worship, prayer, ministry opportunities and events.

CrossRoads Teen Ministry is the youth group at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Park in Lincoln Park, Michigan for all teenagers in grades 7-12.

We want to engage teenagers in a conversation about faith. We want to challenge worldviews and cause people to see God outside the box they’ve put Him in. We dare to dream big dreams. We are creative. We believe that, with God’s power in us, we can achieve the impossible. We know that God works all things together for good to those who love Him.

We believe that eternal life and the only true freedom is found in Jesus Christ. We believe that a relationship with Him changes things forever. You are not the person you used to be after you find Him. You may not be perfect – we’re all sinners, after all – but you don’t live life the way you used to. Jesus told us to be in the world, yet not of it. We’re supposed to stand out and make a difference. We keep our word. We are honest. We are consistent. We are faithful. We are who we say we are. We live what we believe. We live for something bigger than ourselves. We put the needs of others above our own. We are patient, kind, unselfish, and forgiving.
